Webinar Summary
The Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation’s (CMMI) Bundled Payments for Care Improvement initiative offers providers a number of opportunities to align financial incentives with physicians, improve quality, and reduce the cost of care delivery. However, prior to applying, providers need to understand the cost reduction opportunities available to them as well as the potential financial risks they face if they fail to meet their cost reduction goals. While this may seem like a daunting task, given the short turnaround time provided in CMMI’s request for applications, there are many publicly available resources to help providers with the analysis.

After This Webinar You Will Be Able To:

Identify ways in which hospitals and physicians can organize to participate in the CMMI bundle
Evaluate options for defining episodes of care
Select methods for analyzing data to develop an episode price

Tools and Takeaways
Links to publically available resources to support application development
